Beautiful terminal clusters (4-6 inch long) of white flowers in July, multi-stemmed, fine textured, shiny oblong leaves turn golden yellow in fall, deciduous, mature plants have exfoliating bark that reveals the dark red inner bark, clay & acid soil tolerant, forms colonies, attracts butterflies & bees.
