Indiangrass Picture

Feathery copper/green panicles up to 1 foot long bloom from July through August & turn golden chestnut brown in autumn, blue-green leaves 1/2 inch wide & up to 2 inch long turn orange brown in fall, attractive persistent seed heads and foliage provide nice fall color, drought & salt tolerant, likes poor soil (even sand & clay), good for cut dried flowers, attracts songbirds and native bees, great for accent plantings or meadows.
