This classic and adaptable woodland wildflower produces pairs of 2/3 inch long pale yellow flowers which hang beneath their leaves from April to June eventually producing large dark blue berries, long leaves (up to 6 inch) are alternately arranged up the erect arching stems, spreads slowly by rhizomes to form attractive colonies of gracefully arching stems, clay tolerant.
