Slender branching stems of 1/4 inch pale purplish-green bell-shaped flowers bloom from April to July creating an airy appearance, 3-4 inch roundly heart-shaped leaves on 5-7 inch stems create very attractive mounds of wonderfully variable evergreen silvery green foliage with contrasting veins, leaves often turn purple to red in the fall, thrives in dry or rocky sites.
