Eye-catching 2” clusters of bright yellow flowers from April through June, the simple heart-shaped 3” basal leaves & 3-5 part stem leaves are glossy & very attractive, easy to grow, a food plant for Black Swallowtail (Papilio polyxenes) & Ozark Swallowtail (Papilio joanae) butterfly caterpillars, average to moist soil, sun to partial shade, 1 to 2 ½ ‘ tall.
