Small white flowers dot the 4 to 12” flower spikes from July through Octtober, broad egg-shaped hairy leaves up to 6” long often with decorative ‘thumb print’ on the leaves, found in rich moist woods, average to moist soil, sun to partial shade, 1-3’ tall.
