Feathery copper/green panicles up to 1 long bloom from July through August & turn golden chestnut brown in autumn, blue-green leaves wide & up to 2 long turn orange brown in fall, attractive persistent seed heads and foliage provide nice fall color, drought & salt tolerant, likes poor soil (even sand & clay), good for cut dried flowers, attracts songbirds & native bees, great for accent plantings or meadows.
