This robust aquatic plant produces flowering stems with white 1” flowers in whorls of 3 from July through October, 2” to 16” leaves are mostly arrow-shaped with 2 back projecting lobes, long, edible tubers are consumed by a variety of wildlife including ducks, found on muddy shores and in shallow water up to 1’ deep, wet soil, full sun, 1-4’ tall.
