Beautiful deep yellow-orange black-eyed 2.5" daisies bloom in August & September, broad attractive dark green leaves up to 8" long, spreads well by runners, excellent cut flowers, attracts butterflies, dry to moist soil, sun, 2' tall. A very nice garden plant that creates a much more compact & dense effect compared to Rudbeckia hirta (Black-eyed Susan). Black-eyed Susan's as a group (including both R. fulgida & R. hirta and others) are the State Flower of Maryland.
