This classic & adaptable woodland wildflower produces pairs of 2/3” long yellow-green flowers which hang beneath their leaves from April to June eventually producing large dark blue berries, long leaves (up to 6”) are alternately arranged up the erect arching stems, spreads slowly by rhizomes to form attractive colonies, dry to moist soil, partial shade to shade, 1-3’ tall.
