Glorious ¾” rose-violet flowers rise on multiflowered stalks above the leaves on this lovely little plant from April through July, classic 3 part sorrel leaf with ¾” heart shaped leaflets are reddish or purplish underneath and collapse in late summer, spreads by runners from the bulbs, forms colonies, average soil, sun to shade, 4-8" tall.

Native Range: : Massachusetts and s. New York to se. North Dakota & Colorado, south to Arizona & n. Florida, with a population in Oregon. Rare in CT, MA, MI, NY & RI
