Whorls of tiny yellow flowers in May & June are followed by yellow/green seed capsules cradled by reddish bracts, red-tinged leaves up to " wide & 12" long are fringed in long white hairs, a charming tufting ground cover, spreads by seed & short rhizomes. Clay, gravel, & acid tolerant.
