Bold 4" blue flowers with yellow veining put on a beautiful show as early as May in the south & as late as early August in the North, graceful sword-like blue-green leaves are up to 1" wide & can grow to 4' long, an excellent plant for shallow water or very moist soil such as found along the edges of ponds, streams, or wet meadows, attracts hummingbirds, clay tolerant, good rain garden plant.
