Several bright yellow 2-3” flowers top almost leafless stalks from July through September, basal rosette of ovate pointed leaves have long petioles & are up to 6” long, forms colonies by rhizomes, Goldfinches love the seeds, attracts butterflies, drought tolerant, great for meadows.
