Porcelain blue bottle-like flowers (1 to 1 ½”) from August through early October seem perpetually closed & change to blue-violet with age, glossy leaves up to 4 “ long in a whorl below the flowers, it’s fun to watch Bumblebees muscle their way into the flowers to pollinate them.
