Heads of compact white flowers from April to June, semi-evergreen foliage is silky-hairy grey-green above and almost silvery below, forms rosettes up to 6” across with individual spoon-shaped leaves up to 3” long, an attractive and vigorous ground cover, host to the American Painted Lady Butterfly caterpillar (Vanessa virginiensis), thrives under dry conditions, drought resistant.
