A less common form of Purple Giant Hyssop with crowded spikes of white flowers & pale green bracts from July through September, large fragrant (minty) leaves, spreads well by seed (though not aggressively), plant this where you can touch it & enjoy the scent, attracts butterflies, drought tolerant, nice cut flower, good rain garden plant.

Native Range: w. ON to VT & e. MA, south to GA, TN, MO, & KS. Rare in CT, KY, MD, MA, TN, & VT
Germination - Easy: cold stratify 4 weeks, then move to fluctuating temperatures (outdoors works well)
