Beautiful 2" wide flat clusters of white flowers from May to June, ornamental exfoliating bark reveals reddish inner bark, lobed leaves, attractive persistent drooping reddish fruits, deciduous, fast growing, good rain garden plant, tolerates clay or rocky/gravelly soil, drought resistant, birds enjoy the seeds, attracts butterflies, native bees, & beneficial insects.
